"Being a grandparent is the most wonderful thing that happened to me"

altThere are 14 million grandparents in the UK - 1.5 million are aged under 50, 7 million are under 65. Being a grandparent is something that most of us are so proud  and privileged of being  - for many it is a time of having a child in the family without the responsibility, but with all the pleasure that we may have missed with our own children. Here we are celebrating all grandparents  by sharing stories, giving practical advice on things like childcare plus  information to help  you help your grandchildren  and  much, much more.
