We are inviting applications for the following roles.
Network Support Volunteer
Role: Network Support Volunteer
Working hours: Volunteers need to commit to at least one session. A session is up to 2 hours.
Salary: Volunteer
Based: Home Worker / Camarthenshire - Wales
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To help with new drop in/ surgeries and to assist with setting up and helping to run a support group for kinship carers in Carmarthen. Eventually the support will be rolled out into Carmarthenshire so we are looking for a network of volunteers across the county to support kinship carers

Trustees
Role: Trustee
Working hours: Trustees needs to commit to 4 meeting per year plus necessary training and charity events.
Salary: None
Based: National
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Trustees are responsible for holding the charity 'in trust' for current and future beneficiaries. We are looking particularly for experience in Local Authority, Creative Marketing, and Fundraising.

Information and support line Volunteer
Role: Information and support line Volunteer
Working hours: Volunteers need to commit to at least one session. A session is up to 2 hours.
Salary: Volunteer
Based: Home Worker / Harlow
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role of an Information & Support Line Volunteer is to answer calls from grandparents, families and professionals on issues related to grandparents for a period of up to two hours per session giving information and support to callers on issues regarding grandparenting. Training will be provided but this is a position that requires the volunteer to receive telephone calls in their own home. Sessions are as and when the volunteer can spare the time and all volunteering is done at no expense to the volunteer as all materials, postage etc. will be provided.

Welfare Benefit Support Volunteer
Role: Welfare Benefit Support Volunteer
Working hours: Volunteers need to commit to at least one session. A session is up to 2 hours.
(min commitment 1 session a week)
Salary: Volunteer
Based: Home Worker / Harlow
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role of a Welfare Benefits support volunteer is to answer calls from grandparents, families and professionals and provide advice and support on welfare benefits, access to small grants and respite holidays for two hours per session. Training will be provided but this is a position that requires the volunteer to receive telephone calls in their own home. Sessions are as and when the volunteer can spare the time and all volunteering is done at no expense to the volunteer as all materials, postage etc. will be provided.
Answering Welfare Benefit telephone calls during a mutually agreed period of 2 hrs.
To give support and information to callers on grandparenting issues arising from those calls
To send out any relevant information that may be required as a result of the calls
To have a sympathetic, caring nature
