" All I want is to just make peace"
Welcome to all our support group leaders and members page.
In recent conversations with various groups, we were told that members would love to know more about what is going on in our organisation especially with regards to no contact. Well, we listened. We have introduced a new section for support groups called 'GPA support group update for No Contact Groups'. This can be printed from this web page and can be taken to your meetings. You can photocopy the printed page to circulated to your group members which is especially important when members have no online access.
During the year 2011-2012 we received 8,348 calls to our Information & Support Line. 3,501 of these calls represented contact calls

- Grandparents concerned about their child’s partnership/marriage going through a rocky phase or going through divorce or separation
- Grandparents worried about their grandchildren and/or devastated about the family breakdown
- Grandparents raising their grandchildren and finding that their own marriage or partnership is under strain
- We will also be offering relationship support for grandparents whose families are at the point of breaking up and where family conflict means they are worried that they will not see their grandchildren
As part of our new work on relationship problems, we are launching a range of specialised services so we can give you one to one support in a number of ways. We are using decades of experience of helping grandparents to offer these services, delivered by trained and experienced staff and volunteers, most of whom are grandparents. More...
