Volunteer Fundraising

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in fundraising for us.
If you are interested call 01279 428040
The difference YOU can make to grandparents and familiesFunds you raise for the Association would be used to help grandparents in a range of ways – and the 1 million grandparents in the UK who are denied contact with their grandchildren and the 200,000 or so grandparents who care for grandchildren full time could gain great benefit from your efforts.
Raising funds can be fun (and actually if you organise an event or something a bit different it can even look great on your CV when you are looking for a job)
• For every
£6 you raise we can answer another phone call to the advice line. We also need to expand our other support services.
• Our helpline receives around
800 calls a month but 30% of calls go unanswered as we don’t have enough funds to support this.
• A recent
fundraising disco raised £406 this means 68 more calls can be answered• For every
£10 investment in the Welfare Benefit line
you can help raise £200 in otherwise unclaimed welfare benefits
• With every
£38 you
help a support group to run for another month
A small pack of basic information is available to download from the box on your right to get you started but please contact us if you’d like to organise something and we can give you further tips -
