A media volunteer is somebody we can pass press enquiries to regarding their situation. For example a radio show or journalist may be doing a piece on grandparent carers and may want to speak to a grandparent carer for their story. So we would then speak to the volunteer to see if they would like to speak to the media about their situation and then pass details over.
